A Newgrounds Christmas

"Quick review."

date: December 27, 2009

I'm not all that familair with the characters that appeared in this cartoon, but the dialogue by JohnnyUtah and Egoraptor gave me a good laugh. great job!

Santa Fu!

"Awesome remake!"

submission: Santa Fu!
date: December 27, 2009

Kung-Fu has always been a game on the NES that I liked, but could never beat on my own ability. Good job emulating the original game but with a Christmas twist. Control-wise, my only complaint is playing with the keyboard. I wish this game was compatible with a USB control pad. Otherwise, I liked it.

The Charlie Brown Murders

"WOW."

date: November 19, 2009

Just...wow. Out of all the Peanuts parodies I've seen in my life, this is quite possibly the most brutal, unapologetic, and merciless of them all. And I've just seen the recent Family Guy parody of Peanuts, too! The voice actor of Charlie Brown sounds like a mixture of Tyler James Williams and Frankie Muniz, and the animation is so damn fluid that it ridiculous. As for the soundtrack, whoever put that together needs to release an album. I would definitely buy/download it. *Checks credits* Never mind. Still, that's some damn good music.

I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE SEQUEL. This is just so God damn epic that it's ridiculous.

Author's Response:

Hey, thanks! Honestly, I wasn't sure if people would like the horrorcore, but from the comments I'm glad to learn that most enjoyed it.

//Necropolis Xenophobe

"Absolutely amazing."

date: October 24, 2009

This is arguably one of the best short films I've seen on Newgorunds in years. You guys have blended anime-style action, science fiction, martial arts, and Christian undertones almost perfectly to create a dark short film. I did like the fact that it wasn't so dark that Elixir's girl was being dragged down the street in public in broad daylight, LOL.

The fights were pretty cool, but could have been animated a little better. While fluid, some of the character designs and movement looked very...off. I did like how the use of evolution was used as an anime-style superpower, though. The voice acting was very good, too, but the voices of the two lead females needed a better microphone.

I can't wait to see Part 2. Please get it done ASAP! I hope Elixir really isn't dead, as I never really saw him as a villain.

Bambee

"If John K. directed Bambi..."

submission: Bambee
date: September 27, 2009

This is how Bambi would have turned out if it was directed by Ren & Stimpy creator John Kricfalusi: complete and utterly insane, but still hilarious. Great job on perverting one of Disney's most classic animated films!

: 4y-Records : Episode 1

"The cashier guy is Foamy in human form."

date: September 15, 2009

I like how the 4Y-Records series mocks the music industry as well as today's music consumers. Great job!

:: V-Day ::

"Great holiday satire."

submission: :: V-Day ::
date: July 10, 2009

LOL at the vulgar sexual humor in this one. I do feel Germaine's pain about Valentine's Day, though, except my pain is the exact opposite: women expect free candy and shit from men and don't give a shit about some of the men's feelings. I'm not saying all women are like this, but damn it, I can't ever find the good ones.

"Would have been perfect if Foamy wasn't TOO angry."

submission: : Zip Codes :
date: July 10, 2009

As usual, while I found this funny as hell (as I do with most of the NY series), I feel that Foamy's anger was forced a little. However, I did like the social commentary on how retailers are getting more and more nosy with their customers. Great job!

Dinner with Frenchie

"See review."

date: July 10, 2009

LMAO!!! This was pretty funny, as I thought the dialoge in the Matrix sequels got too damn philosophical for its own good. Too bad you couldn't have parodied the infamous "pie orgasm" scene from The Matrix Reloaded, but oh, well. The animation and voices were pretty good, too.

Saturday Morning Watchmen

"You had me fooled."

date: July 8, 2009

I actually thought I was going to see an actual Watchmen cartoon with the campy late '80s/early '90s cartoon vibe.
